Grace Na
Grace Na is a passionate golf coach with a wealth of experience spanning the LPGA Tour and elite junior player development. A former collegiate standout at Pepperdine University, Grace is a four-time All American who went on to compete professionally for three years, highlighted by a T2 finish at the LPGA Final Stage Q School.
Grace holds TPI Level 1 & 2 and TPI Junior Level 2 certifications, equipping her with a deep understanding of the body–swing connection and long-term athlete development.
She brings both technical expertise and tour-level insight to her coaching, working with golfers of all ages and skill levels. Her coaching philosophy centers on growth, enjoyment, and mastery of the fundamentals, creating an environment where players can thrive both on and off the course. Grace is deeply committed to guiding her students through the process of improvement, helping them unlock their full potential and build confidence in their game.

Erik Stone
A Bay Area native from Alameda, Erik Stone brings over 25 years of coaching experience and a deep passion for player development to Monarch Bay Golf Club. A former standout at Fresno State under Coach Mike Whatney, Erik went on to play professionally for eight years across Canada, Asia, Europe, and the U.S., gaining invaluable insight into the competitive side of the game.
Since 1999, Erik has dedicated his career to helping golfers reach their full potential — from juniors and collegiate athletes to professionals. He has coached numerous elite players, including LPGA star Yealimi Noh, currently ranked among the top players in the world.
Erik’s teaching philosophy has been shaped by mentorships with some of golf’s most influential instructors, including Mac O’Grady, Hank Haney, and Adam Schreiber. He is also Dr. Kwon Level 1 certified, integrating modern biomechanics and swing efficiency into his coaching.

Dan Chicorel
Dan Chicorel is the founder of Better Golf Instruction, where he helps golfers of all ages and skill levels build confidence, consistency, and enjoyment in their game. Dan blends traditional golf knowledge with modern training tools and drills to make the game simpler and more rewarding. Whether it’s fine-tuning a grip, improving launch angle, or mastering short-game precision, his lessons focus on creating repeatable skills that translate directly to the course.
Dan offers individual coaching to group clinics and monthly membership programs, with a flexible instruction designed to fit each golfer’s goals. With decades of experience as both a coach and passionate golfer himself, Dan has built a reputation for making golf encouraging, and fun—helping students not only lower their scores but also discover the joy of playing better golf.
Dan was named a Top Ten National PGTAA Instructor in 2024.

Todd Daniel Sr. PGA
Raised in the East Bay, Todd Daniels discovered his love for golf after a multi-sport youth that included baseball, basketball, tennis, and soccer. A graduate of Morehouse College with a B.A. in Psychology, Todd began his golf career soon after college, joining the PGA apprentice program and earning his Class A PGA membership.
Todd spent 15 years in South Florida with his wife Mia and their two children, Marbella and Todd Jr., where he honed his craft as both player and instructor. He competed on several developmental tours — including the Nicklaus, Grey Goose, New England, and U.S. Pro Golf Tours — and holds two course records of 63 and 64.
Throughout his career, Todd has studied under top instructors such as Hank Haney, Butch Harmon, David Leadbetter, Mike Adams, Dave Pelz, and Jim McLean, shaping a teaching philosophy centered on simplicity and enjoyment. He has given more than 15,000 lessons, helping golfers of all levels improve their game and confidence.
Since returning to California in 2009, Todd has built a thriving instruction program known for its easygoing, goal-oriented approach. He works with players of every level to reach their personal goals — guided by his motto, “Better Golf, Better Life.”

Woody Woodard
With more than 50 years of teaching experience, Woody Woodard is a true legend in the Bay Area golf community. A native of Merced, California, Woody moved to the Bay Area in 1978 and quickly became one of the region’s most recognized and respected golf instructors. By 1981, his name was synonymous with game improvement at the Chuck Corica Golf Complex, where he dedicated over four decades to helping golfers of all skill levels refine their game.
In 2023, Woody brought his wealth of knowledge and passion for teaching to Monarch Bay Golf Club, where he continues to inspire players with his timeless approach and deep understanding of the swing. Honored as one of golf’s Black Legends of Teaching,
Woody’s career stands as a testament to his love for the game and his lasting impact on generations of golfers.
